Phil "Lone Star" Nash
St. Louis Perfectos Base Ball Club

Phil "Lone Star" Nash came to the St. Louis Perfectos at the suggestion of
friend Mark "Wheels" Olmsted in 2006. "I enjoy vintage baseball because
baseball is fun!" Nash exclaimed. Nash, who originally went by the
nickname of "Tex," got his new handle from Brad "Chatterbox" Waller. Lone
Star normally plays as a scout in the garden, but also will move into the
position of third tender. Of Creve Coeur, Nash played slow-pitch softball
before joining the Perfectos. About the club's home ground, Nash said, "I
love the trees around the field and the relaxed nature of the cranks." If the
team isn't playing a home match, Lone Star said the Muffin Meadow at Ohio
Village in Columbus is his favorite venue.
