Adam "On the Fly" Rosebrough

"If your uniform is clean, play harder!" That's how Adam "On the Fly"
Rosebrough plays the vintage base ball game. Adam has been a ballist
since 2005, joining the Perfectos during that campaign. His first full season
was 2006 and he was rewarded for his fine play by being voted the Rookie
of the Year. Originally from Lee's Summit, Missouri, Rosebrough played
Little League in his hometown in 1986 and 1987. A baseball fan his entire
life, he learned of the Perfectos from a friend and veteran ballist, Ryan
"River Rat" Melson. Rosebrough will play anywhere but left scout, but since
his friend "River Rat" usually plays there, it's generally not a problem. "On
the Fly" said his favorite memories as a Perfecto include the exhibition
game at Grant's Farm and catching the ball off the fly ball of the fire house
roof at Martinsburg. He said his favorite places to play other than Lafayette
Park are Martinsburg, any place with hay bales in the outfield (like Meramac
Spring Park) and "anywhere I can buy a fried Oreo cookie." Adam enjoys
Lafayette Park and the local cranks. "I love the fact that once a year the
residents around Lafayette Park pony up and play us a few games!" Adam
said.
